Here are the confirmed requirements for Drive APX rentals. Other terms will be presented during the booking process and in your rental agreement.
- Drivers must be at least 21 years old.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A signed rental agreement is required before vehicle release.
- All rentals are by reservation; pickup details are provided during confirmation.
- A $100 refundable security deposit applies separately from the rental payment. Refund eligibility is governed by the rental agreement.
- Cash is accepted by request. Cash requests are subject to approval and are not confirmed reservations until accepted by Drive APX.

Do you rent vehicles to delivery and gig drivers?
Yes. Drive APX welcomes everyday drivers, commuters, and customers who need transportation for approved delivery and gig work. Let us know how you plan to use the vehicle so we can confirm rental eligibility.
Can I use a rental for DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, or Walmart Spark?
We welcome requests from food and package delivery drivers. Please tell us which app or service you plan to use before booking. Your intended use must be permitted under the rental agreement and insurance terms, and each platform sets its own vehicle eligibility requirements. Passenger rideshare use is not automatically included.
Can I rent a car for everyday personal use?
Absolutely. Our vehicles are available for eligible customers who need transportation for commuting, errands, appointments, or other everyday driving.
Do you offer weekly rentals for gig workers?
Yes. Daily and weekly rental options are available. Check each vehicle's current price and availability in the booking section. Any applicable mileage limits and work-use requirements will be explained before the rental is confirmed.
Can I pay cash if I'm renting for delivery work?
Yes. Choose “Pay cash at pickup” to request a vehicle and dates. After Drive APX approves the request and verifies your driver's license, you'll pay the rental charge and applicable refundable deposit before receiving the keys. No credit card is required to submit a cash request.
Is the $100 deposit included in the rental price?
No. The refundable $100 security deposit is separate from the rental charge and is handled according to your rental agreement.
Can I rent if I'm under 25?
Our stated minimum renter age is 21. Rentals remain subject to driver's license verification, insurance eligibility, and rental agreement requirements.
How do I know a vehicle is available?
Choose your dates in the live Booqable booking section to check current availability and pricing for each vehicle. Cash rental requests are reviewed separately.
Does submitting a cash request reserve the vehicle?
No. Cash requests are not confirmed reservations and do not hold inventory until Drive APX reviews and accepts the request.
